On Trying New Flavors: Ice cream and religious search

Browsing the Internet, looking for fellowship. -gw

So here I was, browsing the internet looking at various UU things, thinking it’s a pity that there aren’t any fellowships near me (and also that it’s a shame that there’s only a couple of things keeping me from the Baha’i Faith - but that’s not the point), when I came across someone who said this:

“In many ways its like a trip to the ice cream parlor. We all go and enjoy the ice cream, the fellowship and the journey, we just don’t all order the same flavor of ice cream. We’ve even have been known to combine flavors, share some of ours or try a little of someone else’s from time to time. And of course we’re open to trying new flavors in our search for the best.”
