On Haifa: The future capitol of the world

To this line in one of the many news stories on the designation of the Baha’i shrines as World Heritage Sites, my friend writes:  ”D! how perceptive!” -gw
The Baha’i faith … preaches the unity of all major religions, considers Haifa the future capitol of the world.”
My friend continues… -gw
So that no one who reads this who is not familiar with the Baha’i faith incorrectly assumes the Baha’i faith is about political power, taking over the world, or (if one is mischievous) that it is about taking over Israel or any other such garbage that the paranoid spread … the mention of Haifa being the future capitol of the world never appears as such in the Baha’i writings, and to the extent that it is alluded to, it is a spiritual centeredness, much akin to the Western Wall or Mecca.
