In a broader response to Iran Rights Day, Wendi’s blog post today identifies 22 freedoms, 21 rights, and 8 responsibilities of individuals. Here are a few from her list, some of which may surprise you. What are the rest?

Freedoms
- Freedom to have and express one’s own opinion
- Freedom to criticise
- Freedom of movement
- Freedom to bequeath ones property as one wishes
Rights of the Individual
- Right of the family to maintain itself under conditions favourable to body, mind and spirit
- Right to a social order
- Right to be recognized as a person before the law
- Right to a living
- Right to help others
Responsibilities of individuals
- To develop a personal commitment to building a broader sense of community
- To promote the well-being, and respect for the rights, freedoms, identity and human dignity of others
- To obey the law
- To educate children
