On Tablets, Prayers, Poetry and Persian Songs: Available for download

Dear friends,

 

Due to the wealth of materials that became available to us and the great interest and demand we added a new “Arabic and Persian”, page to the http://teachingandprojects.com/ , in which all the materials would be in Arabic or Persian.

 

In appreciation and remembrance of some of the great original and early Persian artists and singers such as Ghamaroul Moulok Vaziri, Molouk Zarrabi, Roohbakhsh, Roohangiz, Delkash, Marzieh, Vigen, Pooran, Elaheh, Mahvash, Ahdieh, GooGoosh, and more, we share some of their works in this new page. To find them go to the above site then click on “Arabic and Persian” Page and scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for “Persian Music Oldies”.  It is OK to forward this e-mail to your Arab and Persian friends, Bahá’ís or non-Bahá’ís.

 

Also in “Arabic and Persian” Page, for your convenience and benefit, we gathered mp3 format of a few tablets and prayers of Bahá’u’lláh and Abdu’l-Baha with a few Persian songs which can be downloaded to your mp3 player or iPod or make a CD.

 

If you appreciate Persian poetry and would like to see some of the works of Hafez, Rumi, Omar Khayyam, and have a Fal-e Hafiz to ask for the oracle of Hafiz, go to “Games and Plays” page of the above site and look for them. There we shared how Hafez prophesied in Gazal 357 the coming of Baha’u’llah nearly 500 years before He appeared. A prolific and accomplished Persian musician, Ostad Mohammad Reza Lotfi, who was Head of the School of Music at Tehran University between 1978 and 1980, plays tar and sings the Hafez’s Gazal 357 “Dar kharabat e moqan nour e khoda mibinam”.

Due to request of a few TV stations worldwide for a DVD of the videos of persecutions, and in order to accommodate other media and also to have the videos in a format that can be downloaded and be used for any publicity or meetings or presentations they are hereby made available in a savable format on the home page.
